CNN.com - University cancels creationism class - Dec 2, 2005

"TOPEKA, Kansas (AP) -- A University of Kansas course devoted to debunking creationism and intelligent design has been canceled after the professor who planned to teach it caused a furor by sending an e-mail mocking Christian fundamentalists."

UGH! Idiot! Even I know better than to stage a direct attack on the enemy!!! That's why I have this thing! Just think about all the good he could have done. Shot to hell, because he forgot one of the basic tenents of the battle. As much as I love his idea and the implimentation of it, if he's stupid enough to do this then I have to say it's intellecutal Darwinism at work. Ironically enough.

As I recall, there was a professor in Kansas who was assaulted by two guys in a pick-up truck for debunking creationism. Good thing the followers of Christ are merciful. They might have killed him.

Yeah, it was the same knucklehead actually. He had to resign from the university after the original email and his life pretty well went to hell, metaphorically speaking, from there.

Shivian has a great bumper sticker over at Oh My Gods! that says Christianity: Killing you in god's name for over 2000 years. I've always found that to be quite apropriate. LOL
