I must say I find this whole article deeply satisfying.

If I hear one more xtian whine at me about how liberals are so interested in being "PC", changing a name to make an abomination sound more palatable, I'm going to scream. And then along comes "Intelligent Design" and I'm finally comfortably back in the position of shoving their hypocrisy down their arrogant, I'm-right-because-it's-me throats.

You know what is so sad about it all? They have spent the past how many decades saying that science is evil, it defies the teachings of god. Has anyone read "Inherit the Wind"? Or the actual case of the Scopes Monkey Trial? I mean they drew a hard and fast line in the sand between science and religion. So now, under a friendly administration they are trying to make their snake oil show palatable by calling it science! WTF?!?!? Pot, it's the kettle...YOU'RE BLACK!!!!!! But apparently, once again, because they're the ones doing it, that makes it all ok.
WELL NO! You can't do it, I'm calling you on it! Because god says so, is not science! The planet can NOT cease it's rotation without AT LEAST burning one half to a cinder and everything not attached flying off into space! Period. There is no law, theorem or really good idea that can scientifically make that realistic.
