"Acting CIA Director John McLaughlin said Sunday that a new Cabinet-level chief to oversee all U.S. intelligence agencies is unnecessary.

The new Cabinet post is recommended in an upcoming report from the 9/11 commission, according to a source familiar with the report, and the idea is backed by a number of legislators."

This is actually a riot! I was googling to try and find a republican website where they would state their position of supporting small government and I can't find one! These are the listings I find:

But the point I was GOING to make is that I don't think smaller means what GW thinks it means. According to Mirriam Webster it means:

Unless he is using definition #7, in which case he is right on the money. He has definitely created that type of government in America.
